1.Open Progress
Use the order's Progress section for milestones and customer updates. Choose which milestones are visible on the customer link, and keep internal details out of public updates.
2.Advance the work you are allowed to manage
Use the available stage actions to move work through production and ready. Staff actions depend on the owner's permissions and the order's current state; some work still requires recorded approval.
3.Send work back when needed
If your permissions allow a sales handoff, send the order back with a clear note explaining the issue or customer decision needed. This does not create a new approval or payment.
4.Mark ready and notify deliberately
Mark the order ready, then choose Send email, Send text, or Copy payment link as appropriate. Marking ready does not automatically send a notification.
5.Arrange the handoff
When you have configured handoff methods and availability, customers can choose an available pickup or other handoff from their secure link. Review the scheduled details on the order and dashboard.
6.Complete the order
Check the payment history and record any outside payment received. Then Complete order when the work is finished. An unpaid completion warning is a reason to review the record, not to create an imaginary payment.
