1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern use of ProofPay by VouchPayments, a service operated by Averys Woodshop LLC. By creating an account or using a ProofPay-hosted booking, approval, payment, receipt, feedback, or pickup page, you agree to these Terms. A merchant may present additional project, appointment, cancellation, or refund terms that also apply to its relationship with the customer.
2. ProofPay's role
ProofPay provides software for scheduling, project records, customer approvals, payment links, updates, and related business operations. The merchant—not ProofPay—provides the underlying goods or services and is responsible for its descriptions, pricing, performance, cancellations, refunds, and customer support.
3. Payments
Electronic payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider connected by the merchant. Direct Stripe Connect charges go to the merchant's connected account. ProofPay does not hold customer funds and does not provide escrow. Payment-provider terms may also apply. Questions about a charge, cancellation, or refund should first be directed to the merchant.
4. Customer approvals and records
ProofPay may record customer approvals, typed names, accepted terms, timestamps, revisions, and related technical information. These records are intended to document the parties' workflow and communications. ProofPay does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee that a record or merchant term will be enforceable in every jurisdiction or circumstance.
5. ProofPay Transactional Notifications SMS program
Program name: ProofPay Transactional Notifications.
Customers who affirmatively opt in may receive non-marketing text messages sent on behalf of the merchant about appointments and orders. Messages may include booking confirmations, reminders, schedule changes, secure approval and payment links, order-ready notices, and pickup updates.
- Message frequency varies based on appointment and order activity.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.
- Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time.
- Reply HELP for help, or email support@vouchpayment.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
After an opt-out request, one final confirmation message may be sent. A customer who later wants to resume messages may reply START. See our Privacy Policy for information about mobile data and consent records.
6. Merchant accounts
Merchants must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, use ProofPay only for lawful business purposes, and obtain all permissions required to upload customer information and send messages. Merchants are responsible for configuring their services, availability, terms, payment providers, and customer-facing content.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use ProofPay to violate law, infringe rights, deceive customers, send messages without consent, distribute harmful code, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or process prohibited or unlawful transactions. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect customers, merchants, the platform, or third-party services.
8. Availability and disclaimers
ProofPay is provided on an "as available" basis. We work to maintain a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted operation or that third-party services will always be available. To the extent permitted by law, implied warranties are disclaimed. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, ProofPay and VouchPayments will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service, merchant performance, customer disputes, or third-party payment and communications services.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Questions may be sent to support@vouchpayment.com.
